In 1935 Preston Tucker and the legendary race car designer Harry Miller teamed up to form Miller and Tucker, Inc. Together they constructed ten streamlined front wheel drive race cars powered by one of the first production V8 engines. Although a rushed timeline led to minimal early success the cars have become known as some of the most innovative and beautiful designs of the period.
Created by renowned artist Ray Shredhelm this vintage style jacket is similar to what would have been worn by the crew at the 1930’s races. The front of the jacket features a rendition of a Miller and Tucker, Inc. logo and the back rendition features the race car, the company name, and the company location.
The designs are embroidered on dark navy Dickies Men's unlined Eisenhower jacket. The jacket is a 65% polyester / 35% cotton twill construction featuring a double brass zipper, a hidden interior pocket, front welt pockets, a sleeve mounted pencil pocket, slash front pockets, and adjustable waistbands tabs.
